What is Moving Map?
Moving Map is a tool for people to make site selections that best
suits their personal preferences.
This is done by taking authoritative and publicly contributed datasets, and
combining them into a single application.
Through this combining, a colourful overlay that highlights individual preferences
over an area can be generated.
This overlay mpa can be used to help inform individual decision-making when looking
for a new place to stay, move to or buy.
Initial features at launch include:
- Public Transport (Trains, Trams, Buses)
- Supermarkets
- Internet Types
- Parks
- Mobile Phone Coverage
Who owns Moving Map?
Spatiata
Moving Map is owned entirely by Spatiata; a small business located in
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Started in January 2024, Spatiata was created to be a place for people to
get spatial data as well as analytical services and advice (hence the name
being a blend of the words 'Spatial' and 'Data').

What countries are available?
At the moment we only offer the service in Australia.
We are planning to expand to more countries over time, however some may be more difficult to
work with
than others.
